This week, President Trump spoke to reporters as he wrapped up an Oval Office meeting with Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar and Acting U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Ned Sharpless, MD regarding vaping. First Lady Melania Trump was also in attendance.
The President made some statements regarding the financial success of vaping companies in a very short period, adding that vaping is "really not wonderful" and that he and the First Lady feel strongly that concerns around the safety of vaping products and the continued increase in youth vaping should be addressed.
